DAVID HIPSKY
Shop Manager
David’s journey in the construction industry began with hands-on experience as a carpenter, gradually progressing to roles as a Construction Supervisor, Project Manager and Shop Manager. With a career spanning four decades, David has amassed a wealth of experience and expertise in architectural millwork. He studied Building Construction Technology at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed vocational training in Carpentry from Oliver Wolcott Regional Vocational Technical School in Torrington, Connecticut. David has extensive knowledge and practice with a wide range of methods and materials from many years spent building high-end residential custom millwork for homes in the Boston area as well as unique installations for museums and theaters. He has also successfully led the implementation of safety programs within shop environments.
David’s broad industry knowledge, coupled with his dedication to excellence and leadership, make him a valuable asset to Heartwood Millworks. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and visiting roller coaster parks whenever he gets the chance!
